Despite our amazing technology we do have to state that there is a possibility of certain side effects that we do not claim any liability for. Please use PowerGene Techologies at your own risk.

Side effects may include:

•  Damage to organs and tissues

Ethical Concerns

Although there should be no doubts in our technology, it is important to review the ethical conerns. We believe that the possible success of our technology greatly out weighs the few ethical concerns. Still, we encourage you to review these points.

• Will it alter human nature? Is having superhumans okay? Editing the genes of humans change what it fundamentally means to be a human becuase we are eliminating certain traits that make us human (Joseph et al., 2022).

• Will it restrict human freedom? If we are editing genes that will affect our future children, that takes away their freedom of choice on if they want thier genes changed (Joseph et al., 2022). 

• Are there unknown consequences? We do not yet know the long term negative effects of genetic editing, and could be making wrong decisions when blindly moving forward with this technology (Joseph et al., 2022). 

• Will it create social inequalities? This technology is expensive and is not accesable to all, which gives the wealthy a large advantage in life and health (Joseph et al., 2022).

• How will competitions and sports be fair? If we can create physically superior humans with healther bodies it is not fair that they compete against athletes that do not have access to this technology (Joseph et al., 2022).
